In theory, affiliate programs, also known as affiliate networks, are really pretty easy. They basically are a site where merchants and affiliates can find one another, contact each other, and begin to work together. Affiliates and merchants can sign up for their own affiliate program, post their products for sale, and begin to work together. They share some of the same goals when it comes to making money with their business – they both want to sell products, attract customers, and make a profit. The only part that is a little bit trickier in this process is actually promoting those products to the people who will end up buying them.
